Omaha awarded 2012 Olympic Team Trials for Swimming!

AQUATICS INTERNATIONAL Magazine
designates B-T Aquatics as "2008 Best of Aquatics" in the
"University / School" category.

FAST AWARDS ANNOUNCED: The 2008-2009 Face-UP Fast
Award winners are Emma Vertin, GNST, and Michael Simmons, SO.
Both swimmers turned in the fastest performances of the season
at the 14&U Division I Championships, March 13-15 at UNO.

The
National Institutes of Health issued a press release on March 2,
2009: Swimming Lessons Do Not Increase Drowning Risk in
children. This study allays concern that lessons could
increase risk by reducing parental vigilance (as proclaimed by
the American Academy of Pediatrics). Of course, we've
known this all along, as have you, our wonderful Pool
Pirates Swimming parents, however it's nice to have science on
